Ganga Nursing Home was started in 1976 by Dr. L Ananthakrishnan. Since 1997 his son Dr. A. Vikram has joined him. It was situated centrally in T’nagar. In 2009 it was closed for renovation and development. In its place a four storeyed hospital is constructed. At that site we have now Agada Diabetes care. The surgery centre is situated in the fourth floor and will also have a day care surgery facility.
Besides this there will be a Diabetic research centre and facility for opthalmic procedure and podiatry and Day care Surgery.
